God made Him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Jesus we might be made righteous.
You become right/righteous by believing in Jesus. But if you live in sin, you’ll have hell on earth. It’s Jesus’ blood that gives us the right to call God, “Father.”
It’s God’s nature to be just, to be righteous. In their effort to become relevant to the world, the righteous have become irrelevant to the church.
My first duty as a born again believer, is to “Love the Lord with all my heart…” If you have God’s righteousness, you act righteously out of reverence for God. Don’t become too familiar with the presence of God and try to make Him cheap. God’s presence shouldn’t be carried mechanically like Uzzah, who got burnt, don’t make God cheap.
